Swami, I agree that it looks odd that our 3 North American directors (and H.O.) are in Canada, with most of the action in Texas. But sometime next year the Quebec govt will (imo) give the ok to drilling the uttica shale in Quebec. We have huge opportunity there. Reason I am confident that the go-ahead will happen is that so much has changed in the drilling industry since the hysteria of 3 years ago - all changes for the better (environmentally speaking).
Aside from the well discussed challenge for the present crop of s'holders and management of releasing full value from the Texas oil shales, we need to watch closely events in Quebec. I would hate to see MPO sell everything, capital return in some fashion, and re-birth MPO as a Canadian co. (with CR) specialising in extracting value from the Quebec acreage - and I miss out!
