For myself, today's announcement of the AGM date is excellent. It is a reminder that we can vote some of the Directors off the Board. In particular, and having seen him in action and his attitude to SH, and to SH questions or keeping SH adequately informed, I would certainly advocate voting against the Chairman remaining either as Chairman or on the Board. Especially since being only one of two Australian Directors, with mainly Australian SH on the company register, including all the new corporate SH and Metals X (MLX), he should be looking out for Australian SH interests, in an Australian company that is based in the US. He is a Director on the Board, on behalf of, and took after, the owners' (shareholders) interests.
Maybe he has forgotten that SH own the company, that we bought our shares with hard earnt cash and weren't given our shares (or options which have no adequate incentive hurdles), and that his position and place on the the Board is at our discretion. Or maybe he should just retire if he can't lead and "direct" the Board and the Executive?
