We can speculate and think of anything but the price actions today indicated lots of sellers and not enough buyers and yes low volume makes it vulnerable to down pressure, only now we can see buyers step in and for now it is off low.
A few days ago we saw a spike in SP and it can happen again at anytime and yes low volume would make it more violent when it happens.
Lots of stops got hit, we really need to see their updates re margin, retail numbers and dividends and my feeling is it won't be as bad as traders believe.
