(AFR) PE bigwig sniffing around Vocus NZ as auction heats up, page-8

Bug - I was lucky enough to have sold out just at the top before the offer was pulled last year and haven't really followed what's going on other than perusing a few announcements here and there.

What's got my attention now is that Bowen and Farrow have resigned at the same time. So apologies if this has been covered already but is there a belief that these two could be jumping ship to partner with a PE firm to relook at a total buy out? The SP is floating back at the same levels that got PE interested in the first place last year and it makes sense to take another look now that the ASC is close to RFS and there appears to be some modest growth across a few business units. If it made sense back then, surely it makes more sense now - especially if you can get two execs to lead the charge with you and advise on the negotiations.

I may look to reenter this shortly based on all of this.
