This country has a fetish bashing companies that become successful or dominant... what's the deal? Everytime a company becomes successful, the media inentially looks for dirt to dig up and bash the company, no matter what it is. Instead of trying to nurture these companies (particularlyt tech) so they can grow by working together to iron out any kinks in the process, the AFR and other media get their clubs ready for head bashing. How the fark is Australia going to have any success in the technology sector (as it lags the rest of the world) when all the media wants to do is bash these start ups at the slightest hiccup? particularly once they start to become bigger. is it jealousy? is it because these journalists missed the boat and didn't invest early when all the tech saavy investors who believed in the company did and made 10x bags?
