G,day Mission.Yes the Eagles will have their hands full dealing with Liam Ryan. The club cannot live his private life and chaperone him 24/7. Careful and caring guidance may or may not work. The area he was brought up in, being the Geraldton, Mullewa, Mt Magnet districts have a history of violence within the indigenous communities. Their culture doesn't seem to allow them to divorce themselves from those situations. Now he has serious money, only adds to the problem. This is a very delicate balancing act for the WCE hierarchy and mentors. We have already witnessed the Ashley Sampi episode with him just tossing the towel in and going back to the bush and his roots. Chris Lewis also found it difficult, going walkabout on several occasions.

These indigenous boys are all extremely talented footballers so i just hope that Flyin Ryan with the help of others can adjust and settle down to regularly showcasing his brilliant skills without the law constantly tapping him on the shoulder.
