All jokes aside it's a pretty low act - how many weeks did mike tyson get for biting his opponent's ear? should we have a zero tolerance for bitting in AFL?
Opinions are going to vary. How you punish someone for that - 3 weeks plus a darn good fine would be the bare minimum in my book - but I feel the real thing that would be the most worrying for him is the respect he has lost and i bloody-well did respect him for his speed and kicking and the fact he came straight from ireland and taking on our game.
conor mckenna is an absolute speedster and i was totally surprised when tory dickson ran him down - i thought it was pretty pathetic for mckenna to react the way he did - sometimes you get caught out and run down by someone you didn't expect to but you have to accept those little defeats with good grace - all i thought he had initially done was to overreact physically but for him to have bitten him. I guess some will view as serious as a life time ban in order - others will say its hardly nothing no one got hurt he did break skin. more then likely somewhere in-between is right.
