In Canada and especially parts of Germany where Amazon is well established, users can talk to Amazon Alexa during the day to add items to a shopping list. For example Mum may be making lunch for the children and ask Alexa to put Glad Wrap on the shopping list; the children may ask Alexa to add ice-cream, and so on. At some stage the mother / father can ask Alexa to submit the order, and the next day the items are delivered to the door, and the Amazon automatically deducts money from the house account.
