Yep you are right H00ts, it seems to happen more often when doing a longer post.
It just happened to me when doing the next XJO thread.
It got so slow in the end, that I hit the post button (so it didn't lock up completely and lose what I had already done),
then I went back and finished it using the edit function (which worked fine, at normal speed again), I just had to rush a fair bit......so it was completed in the 3 min edit time......
