Explorers talk about gold recoveries e.g. fresh ore gold recoveries of 97-99% using conventional crushing and ball milling circuit. It must mean that it is possible to calculate an absolute recovery. In the case of the complex ores at Ema and Tres Estados how do you determine the absolute value of gold, silver and PGE in the ore?
The announcement of March 14, 2018 makes the point that current results may "represent only partial extraction values". I wonder whether BBX will be able to calculate the total extraction value from complex ores. Additionally, what would be an acceptable recovery where the directors can rule a line under their metallurgical test work and finalise their assay technique?
