From this report pinto, it seems to me that globally cash is king and property next ..though that figure is a bit one sided due to heavy property investment in Australasia and North America .
...and there is indeed more investment in gold but, globally, slightly less interest in it than there is in crypto currencies?

This seems at odds with your press story of companies snapping up all the gold mines ...But interesting ....
