Hi Rock, vacumar and prisoner thanks for your replies. I’m actually a bit out of touch with A2M partly because I’ve been paying too much attention to some other companies I own, and partly because I’m going to hold my A2M shares till I’m too old to worry about money, and as such I’ve just been happily letting them tick higher without putting the hard research yards in I used to.
I realise what you were saying about market capital and the number of share holders (and perhaps I should be checking managements share rights / options before I jump in big again) but in spite of A2M having six times as many share holdings as BAL, I can imagine A2M having six times BAL’s market share. Seems in all the supermarkets I go to, other infant formula companies are always on sale (including BAL), and A2M is always priced at a premium and still goes off the shelf quicker than the others.
TBH I haven’t done all the calculations I probably should but I have invested over $150K in A2M and $50K in SM1 both in the $6 range this financial year so I’m probably lucky in that I could absorb a fall and still be happy (perhaps like many other long termers here), either way I’m holding long and I still believe this could well be the best company in the world today, maybe even along with some Australian lithium companies as I’m not only health conscious, I believe the world needs to move towards more renewables and away from greedy companies that are polluting the world and fu@%ing it up for us and future generations. Tragically today I was watching an @#sehole of a company seismic testing for oil and gas out off my local beach and they weren’t even that far out. I suppose that’s just another thing I’ve got animosity towards, along with the fact that Trump likes to divert attention to certain countries around the world, while helping the Saudi’s bomb the sh#% out of Yemen and Israel shoot Palestinians who are throwing rocks over the fence.
Perhaps those last comments were a little off topic, so to remain focused on this thread, I bought another large parcel of A2M today, as you said on another thread Rock “The company has a fair amount of cash and they should be looking to invest in future growth”, and that’s exactly what I’m doing!!
