Reaching 150,000 tons p.a would be pretty far down the track imo - if they can even successfully extract the Br from the brine and if they can drill some more boreholes nearby without affecting the flow rate of the bores with adequate Br content.
But overall, it does seem promising... Given the flowrate experienced during sampling and the PPM detected, I am estimating about 7 tons/day equivalent of elemental Br from this borehole alone without additional pumping if the same flowrate continues during production - as stated in the original sampling report, there is strong chance of this flowrate not having matured and was not flowing at the maximum possible for this borehole during sampling.
Of course there will be losses along the process of separating the elements (if it is even possible to efficiently separate Br from the brine - I am not familiar with the proposed Li pilot plant process, I suppose they can change processes to be more suited for Br extraction). And there will be other losses reaching the target compounds they need. So the final production ton p.a cannot be estimated even whilst assuming just one borehole for now.
This is truly exciting news though. I am glad we have at least one possible strong stream of revenue - but I am still on the fence whether I want to top up right now or see what happens. Ugggh, hate making calls like this. I honestly still think this stock can go either way. A lot of people on here on both extremes (blindly following / over-hyped, or very negative) that seem to go around in circles, don't get sucked in. Do your own research, pull out a calculator and decide for yourself.
