This depth is similar depth to that of Clastic 31 in the Paradox Basin at 7,080 feet. Since 2007. Albemarle Corporation operated two main plants in Arkansas with a production capacity of 148,000 tons and its main competitor, Chemtura has a production capacity of 130,000 tons. I realise that ASN is chasing lithium, but given the above information, and assuming it's correct, I'm really surprised the ann. didn't emphasise the strength of their bromide results. At 12894 ppm, and over double the richness of the Smackover formation, I would have thought they'd be doing a jig, not disregarding the readings of the other minerals. Do your sums. Based on the above information, let's say ASN produces 150000 tons of bromide p/a. At US$4500 per ton, that's a lazy production value of US$675,000,000 p/a. ASN has a high pressure, easy access, very bromide rich resource, which by nature means that costs of production, when stacked against it's USA competitors, would murder them.
