Anyone else received a letter from Mooter? Got one today and wondered for a moment why they would finally be communicating after missing so many opportunities to do so as the ship foundered around us and we debated how to crystallize a tax loss. I had a sudden suspicion and thought, "No, they wouldn't have the chutzpa...would they??"
Oh, yes! Almost chuckled myself to death as I read the letter in disbelief. For those that didn't get it, here is a very abridged paraphrasing.
'Dear Sheep, sorry we went down the gurgler with all your money. Here is what happened to us in point form. (Lists litany of disasters.) As you can see, we used to be bad, but now we have some new faces and we're good. Give us more of your money so we can shear you some more. At the moment we only want to know how much you wish to give us. Yours in anticipation, The Board."
