    People can own what they like. It's a free country. Silver went up to USD 50 an oz & you made a killing. If the SP of a certain stock went from USD 16 to USD 50 what would your attitude be....good investment, USD 50 a good time to cash out with a healthy profit(?) WTFIWWY.
    No one buys and holds everything from 1762 or whatever ridiculous scenario you gave....
