The free float is the number of shares available for individuals to trade each day.
VAH largest shareholders (usually unlikely to trade each day) have 91.49% of the total number of shares
tied up ( as of 08-09-1917). Hence the free float for VAH is 8.51% of the total number of shares in the company. Currently the free float is about 719 Million shares (Total shares 8454 Million).
Hence buying back the small parcels will reduce this further. This should make it more responsive to good/bad news.
