The very non-essential poll is another useless poll. Its meaningless regardless of who leads. The only thing that matters will be the election. A week is a long time in politics and people are fickle and swing between branches depending on the questions or news feeds. How many times do we see these wrong polls? Brexit, Trump, Abbott, Rudd and now Shortens lead? The press and many lefties keep attacking the man without questions shortens lack of useful policy. All he wants are new taxes.
People do not like Shorten, they actually do not like him more than they do not Turnbull. Labor are kidding themselves if they think they will walk into the lodge and we would be kidding ourselves if we thought it was a good idea.
