I suspect that like CETO 5, this buoy will will be tested then scrapped - they get more money in R&D tax rebate than they're likely to make in power revenue. The buoy is a prototype, not a production power producer.
However I'm surprised there would seem to be so little headroom in the capacity of the Sand Patch wind farm's grid interconnect.
