The issue of children using the internet was highlighted again this evening re a family who has banned mobile phones in home during the evening - everybody. This is due to the Mum and Dad being concerned with the potential effects of social media on their children.
I sat there watching the whole family embrace this decision and accept that it was the way to go.
This is the only way they could see forward.
Experts then were interviewed re how important communication was within the family environment with this social issue and then other parents said how difficult it was to be continually checking on the content their kids were viewing.
