Standardization is critical for companies like WP in this situation. With a large area that they service it would be beneficial to have only one or two types that they install across all sites.

If multiples vendor were engaged it would be a nightmare mix of systems that they’d have to deal with.

The only way multiple vendors would work is if WP had their own standardized design that vendors would produce for them.

Based on EMC’s previous dealing (trial site) with WP they would surely be on top of the list to win some or all of the work!
