BHP got more than 3b shares, yes 3b, issued and nobody ever had a problem with that number.
Consolidation back fires if a comp got nothing to progress further, it benefits if a company increases profits. For IMU, imo, a consolidation won't bring any benefits at this stage. As FP said, the MC is the only thing that counts.
IVX got 5.4b issued and here as well, nobody saw a problem sending that stock to almost 6c.
