Sorry if I seemed to miss your point. But I feel your point was too bleeding obvious, there's always risk in everything we do, it's just based on what I know so far the risk is minimal.
I was going to catch a plane and you're telling me, if the plane explodes, it will be hard to exit. Duh.. isn't that obvious, but doesn't stop me from catching one. It'll be more helpful maybe if you explain such as:
* Don't catch a plane during bad weather
* Don't book airlines from third world countries
I always think I never have enough information, so I keep looking. And I always think sophisticated investors like Platinum has better knowledge. But as far as I concern wrt Imugene, the science is sound & the team is bona fide. Still the recent selling by them was annoying me, but not anymore after my research:
1. As stated in my post before, platinum sold 1 day prior to a very important announcement which significantly boosted the SP back in Feb. So this to me indicates that Plat don't have better knowledge in terms of the fundamental of the stock. However, they certainly do have excellent TA team.

2. Recent selling by Platinum is curious in terms of the announcement date. They sold between 12 March & 3 April. Yet they waited until 13 April to announce this. Anyway, I attended the Imugene small caps presentation together with dozens of brokers on the 3 April evening, pretty much after Plat finished selling. In that presentation, Leslie was optimistic. Again on 6 April in Commsec interview. So in fact, there are two positive vibes from Leslie
AFTER Plat selling.

3. The period Plat sold IMU coincides with the time Plat share price fell significantly from $8.72 to $6.0 & $5.5, so it probably has something to do with Platinum internally. See table below regarding PTM share price:

4. In March, Platinum experienced net outflows of $150m, with
one large client reducing their account by $234m
eek:!!!). See their announcement below. So, if someone told you, hey I want $234m of my money back, what would you do?

5. This is nothing, but I did joke to Leslie whether Platinum as the top shareholder gets special info, but she responded seriously that she'd go to jail if any of the shareholders (except the team) receive insider info from her (LOL).
So based on the above reasons, I'm pretty confident the reason Plat sold IMU has nothing to do with the fundamentals of IMU.
Alright, enough rubbish from me, seriously spending too much time on hotcopper forum again...
