Cheers for the freedback, a few points I wanted to make.
1. If you go through all reports for last 2 years you will find mention of an expected mine life of around 8 years, whilst more work is required for this to be set in stone it has been mentioned.
2. The grade you mention and tax payable all make massive sense, I am not an analyst and am unsure how to account for this so my calculations exclude copper production. Copper production from Peak has averaged 8 mill pounds a year for the last 20 odd years, as you mentioned you can’t use past estimates to predict future however conservatively if Peak produce 50% of this and we don’t count it do you think that would be enough to offset certain tax components?
3. On the mining grades these are a definite variable. The price of gold, silver, lead, copper and zinc are also variables. If the gold price exploded that is a positive variable that can’t be accounted for at present, this is a mining company so grade and metals prices will influence positively or negatively, at current the last 3 quarters have been crackers. I would amend my projections should/when this changes.
As mentioned these are just my musings and I appreciate the feedback, I personally thought excluding all copper production would offset certain variables and show a conservative picture.
Again all my opinion that could be wrong, this is not advice and I am just an interested shareholder trying to figure out fair value.
Always do your own research and speak to a licensed adviser.
I look forward to feedback.
Cheers
