Strip Ratio Deep South 2:1 -> they have to move 3 tonnes ore/waste
2,26 / 3 = approx 0,8 USD per tonne ore/waste
Assuming CLA is having in the first years of open pit 10:1 strip Ratio = 11 tonnes waste/ore
--> 11 * 0,8 USD = the 9 USD per one tonne co/cu ore i mentioned (only for mining)
It's coincidence that Deep South is also having 9 USD in total unit costs. The processing costs are for sure not comparable to a Co/Cu miner, i wouldn't touch them to make any comparisons.
