Going to the 2009 match, which was a Saturday, cost me maybe $10,000 on buying a house. At about 2.30 the vendor and I were $20,000 apart, and in the end I paid his price to avoid missing the bounce.
My son and I, way back on level 4, shed tears of joy when Zaha, maybe 19 at the time, cool as ice, slotted the big one.
Hopefully Hazer can show the courage that the Dons did, and go from down on the canvas to singing the song.
On the other hand, Joe could kick it out on the full with Bombers down by a point and 10 seconds to go.
Life, punting on specs and following the red and black are all traumatic, but, hey, selfmade, they keep us alive.
