I wouldn't support your suggestion.
Under current constitutional arrangements, we have 3 separate independent bodies that underpin our democratic system of government: the Parliament, the High Court, and the Monarch.
Our parliament is supreme, it is not subservient to the High Court or the lower court judges.
If we are to have an anti-corruption commission, it is best set up by a parliament legislation, staffed by professionals who have the necessary skills and experience to carry out their duties prescribed by the legislation. The Commission should have 3 or more commissioners appointed by the Governor-General, as representative of the Monarch, on fixed terms and cannot be removed by the Attorney General, can also be removed by both houses of parliament. Grounds for dismissal should be clearly set out in the legislation that establishes the Commission. The Commission will have the authority to investigate any alleged wrong doings and misbehavior by ministers, public servants and associates, judges, and have the power to refer such matters to the Australian Federal Police.
The Commission is to report to the parliament every 6 months, its report to parliament should be available to the public for viewing.
I haven't checked, but I don't believe there is such a body as "the Supreme Court of Australia".
On another side matter, it is very important that we don't allow our politicians to change the proportional representation system of voting for the Senate election, this is to ensure that no one party has the absolute numbers to control the Senate.
