OK. It's odd that they come in post-4C (obviously they have lockouts) just to provide their own 'market sentiment' by buying little dribs and drabs of the diminishing free float. There was a big song and dance a while back when the stock price was higher that they needed more liquidity. Now it's nothing but them buying.
Personally I think it's one of two things: 1) provide a floor on the value so when an acquirer comes along they get a good offer or 2) pursuing a 'buy low, sell high' strategy. If it's #2 they've done pretty well so far from that, but pity the fool that bought all those shares the directors unloaded at 1.40 or 1.70. The argument that they somehow "see the value" presumably means this isn't worth more than 1.40, no? At best?
