The Banking Royal Commission has found systemic impropriety in the Banking and Finance industry.
Should the company tax cuts the govt is trying to push through be agreed to, the huge beneficiaries
would be the banks. They would get a lions share of the billions. They will be rewarded for their systemic
corruption and ironically if they get the tax cuts any penalties will likely be more than covered by the tax cuts.
IMO its now unlikely the govt will get the numbers to pass the corporate tax cuts. The banks fiasco may have killed off the prospect of enough of the cross bench to support the cuts. This means the govt will basically have its overall policy agenda collapse. Another nail in the coffin of the Coalition govt.
