This stupidity is already impacting Australia. There are many companies that are putting their money offshore. Our labour costs are higher than most countries, and now our energy is. Even with automation we could not compete. In my sector Data Centres are now built offshore. We have already lost our car manufacturing industry, textile industry, plus many others. We can’t compete, and it is our own stupidity. We have effectively exported jobs and income to countries like China, India, Phillipines, Malaysia, and Indonesia that don’t buy in to this climate claptrap.
