Why would you think that? Nobody needs to make a decision about what to do about the existing offer as early as that. Who knows what's going on?
Though I haven't been impressed by management's approach to this, I doubt if it was accidental that they rushed to release the Centrogold Scoping Study before the bid opened for acceptance.
