I was having a debate on the cla thread wuth muppets claiming advances in battery tech will make hydrogen cars redundant snd even posters here have made this claim . I was demonstrating that manufacturers are taking hydrogen very seriously and they are now rolling ofvthe plant.
Your question for the reason for the move us a good one. My hunch is that they may wish to use it a demonstration model and coal seam gas is still a bit on nose the here in NSW.
The other unlikely possibility is that the perth team is smarter than us east coast dwellers but i have been to perth and this remains a lower probability theory.
I hope this is not insider trading but i did hear from a deep throat that in the rush to pack nobody noticed robbo has pinched the one and only allen key. This is holding up the perth team a bit trying to reassemble it.
