Guys I want to point out that although hot copper may be cumbersome at times, it does have its benefits. I prefer a conversation where the points raised can be critically picked apart by impartial and even negative outsiders. Two sides of the debate are essential. What's the point in joining an echo chamber where we just pat each other on the back? HotCopper mods while arguably heavy handed also filter our posts for legalities and unsubstantiated information. That's kept me away from a defamation lawsuit before.
