I commend you on the level of detail and thoroughness of your research. It is worthy of inclusion in a bidder or target's independent valuation report and of course, you having woken shareholders to the fact that the takeover offer seriously undervalues the worth of AVB, we can possibly see the reason that OZL and AVB chose now to provide an independent valuation to shareholders. And having been involved in a few takeovers, I was surprised (or maybe not!!) that both the bidder and target statements just happened to come out in quick succession. This takeover has all the hallmarks of 'let's try and get this done quickly and cheaply and hope no one notices.'

That valuation of CentroGold itself is an eye opener and AVB and OZL know it is going to get approved. Only have to look at the AVB ASX announcement of March 29 - Management Appointments - where three senior appointments announced were specific to CentroGold. Would they announce those if they were uncertain they were going to get the tick from regulators?

Feel to me like AVB's Board are essentially giving the company away for a song imo. I'm sure there are a few other mid tier mining company's and larger around the globe maybe thinking the same.

I too would like to thank Kalenn for the HC post of the year, amazing and informative research.

On the value of Centro, I IMO wonder if Avanco now has a conflict of interest getting the approvals through.

Could they possibly be stage-managing delays to NOT the the approvals till the take over is done.
