You said "at some stage I will have to protect my capital". I am guessing that you mean that you will have to sell - is that so?
Downward pressure is being placed on the share price by those who have no other reason to do so, than for accumulation purposes - they want shares and are going to get them - your shares. Unfortunately many traders also see that if that downward pressure should continue they could jump on the bandwagon and also profit (by selling and buying back in at a lower price), thus exacerbating the situation and assisting in the downward spiral of the price.
IMO, whether you hold or sell should (in the abovementioned circumstances) be related to the share price, the fair and reasonable value of the company at that time, and the prospects of the company going forward. The manipulators are tying to convince you that the fair and reasonable value is lower than what it currently is. I think that fair value is the price that the instos paid in the CR = $1.15, and anything below that will be seen to have been a bargain. I bought some yesterday, and will get more today if this manipulation continues.
