one of the reasons why there is only a smaller premium paid to the farmers is very simple. Synlait/a2-Milk Company pay the process of testing on the dairy farms - they give advice and they certify that there is only A1-free milk in the tank. That´s the difference to other competitors and believe me, this A1-free is more important as milk from A2A2 cows. Right now there is a gap on so many "a2-milk" producers - no testing of the milk!! A2M is a high quality product company and it sets the trends. Why should you go to other milk giants when you know their big business is A1/A2 milk? I agree with you - in 5 years time the management has to be creative again but till this period A2M is either part of a big Food Company or it´s the world´s largest supplier and leader of "Natural Milk"
