Correct listen to some of Mikes interviews he mentions “And who some of those partners will be into the future and beyond” Caterpiller obviously has been the silent partner “mentor” for some time , and now will be ready to move to the next stage ,it is perfectly logical to have a whole bunch of companies under the same umbrella “CAT VENTURES” a lot easier to manage and much more profitable!while keeping harmony and uniformity in all the seperate identities , very smart business ! Win Win situation for all concerned and the exchange of technology between the seperate entities would only accelerate their process by feeding of each other IMO .

I have been researching what happens when Caterpillar takes over a company in detail and here is something I noticed:

We will focus for example on prentice a quick history on prentice:
PRENTICE HAD A UNIQUE BRAND AND COMPANY LOGO AND COMPANY COLOR ..... AFTER CATERPILLAR BOUGHT THEM UP THEY MAINTAINED everything!:
As you can see just because Caterpillar buys up a company does not mean that all products have Caterpillar on them and are yellow.
So if fbr gets sold to Caterpillar, fbr its image would remain the same mostly and pivac could just go work for Caterpillar and continue inventing.
