Keeping it anonymous is a great idea, I think adding that to the thumb process would be a good idea also. HC can sometimes suffer from mob mentality, especially in the politics and news forums. If thumbs became anonymous then I think there would be far less given for rubbish, and would remove a big reason for such mobs to flourish.
