    If that entity didn't exercise their options they would have lapsed and been worthless.
    Exercise price was 35c and lapsed on 31st march 2018 so I can't see what that has to do with a possible takeover.
    I wouldn't have minded holding a few million options at 35c exercise price.
    Who wouldn't convert them at half the current sp.
