“Solid sales growth trajectory into 2018”.
Continual improvements into software and hardware.
Boost will be shipping from 4 locations (Sydney, London, Hong Kong and Los Angeles).
Live IQ in pre-production. Due to commence pre-orders in September 2018.
Average hearing aid user currently waits 7-10 years from the time of diagnosis to purchasing hearing aids.
Hearing loss is the third most prevalent health issue in adults after arthritis and heart disease.
FDA have another two years to decide on how they will deploy the OTC Act.
Hearing loss in the average adult starts to commence at 35 years old.
Average user of hearing aids is currently 72 years old.
13m hearing aids sold globally on an annual basis.
Typically hearing aids range from $4,000 to $14,000 for a pair.
Currently Audiologists are the only personnel that can fit and prescribe current hearing aids.
No plans to move into the traditional headphone business sector.
LiveIQ will focus on the “wellness” hearing market.
Some clinics have three month waiting lists currently. A product that allows self-fitting solves the current issues in the market.
OTC represents further opportunities for Nuheara.
90% of the current market is shared by the big six hearing companies. GN, Sonova, William Demant, Sivantos, Widex, Starkey.
Nuheara sees penetration in the mild to moderate space. Which hearing device would you wear? The typical hearing aid or a hearing device such Nuheara’s?
Hearing aids currently not driven through consumer awareness. Current market is not consumer facing, rather Audiologist facing.
Nuheara products are not hearing aids, Nuheara are hearing buds!
Nuheara products are situational products. They are not made to be worn full-time like hearing aids.
Much lower price point with a simpler point of service.
No stigma attached with Nuheara products. Consumers are a lot more inclined to wear Nuheara like products.
Current hearing aids require significant time and money to be fitted. Hearing buds totally change the current paradigm.
Another product announced - Boost TV Streamer announced. RRP appears to be $200.
IQ Store – Priced at $2.00/month.
Company still building its market base. Never say never to a capital raising.
If we are successful we will need capital. All businesses that are successful require capital as they grow.
Capital raised so far has been deployed efficiently. Nuheara have raised $20m since listing, others have raised in excess of $50m and are well behind to where Nuheara is at this current time.
Not really concerned with technology theft with the current manufacturer.
I cut out during some of the questions.
Some very interesting developments IMO. Upside looks even better than I was anticipating.

Thanks for the notes.
Sounds like we are going to fill the gap in the current hearing aid market without treading on too many big toes ? Which means they might just let us go about our business.
