I personally value opposing view with critical analysis a lot more than the pampered retail holder who doesn't have a point but being wishful. All good points captain, I will take that into consideration as a longterm holder, anyone that did the short did me more favour than the day traders and the chooks.
IMO the operating margin (25% in FY17 grown from 2.1% in FY15) will most likely improve as the vertical integration and the economy of scale starts to work. for e.g. the marketing cost, operating cost, packaging cost, production cost from SM1 would come down and leave more room for A2M to revise prices downward even if competition heats up. I suspect that A2M will still have low double-digit operating margin even if they wage a price war with a regular a1a2 producer.
As production mature and the herd size of a1 free cattle improve, my logic is that the cost will come down dramatically over the next few years, it is up to A2M to determine the price as they ultimately have the pricing power that is not subject to normal market dynamic (peer competition).
