We are all travelling through lifes journey.. Tonight I am reflecting a bit.. It has not been the easiest journey for me, $$ wise yes I became a multi millionare then through the GFC lost it... So had to reinvent myself from below zero . 10 years on, I have a stable job, thats a story in itself... however my children have grow up.. from 6 and 9 to 16 and 19 during that time...
I am the first to admit, my focus was keeping the roof over our heads, food, and keeping them in the same private school. One has finished school, the other year 11... Both now have part time jobs, one os more independant, the other I am the taxi... Tonight they are both home and I am not working, so we are having a family meal... It only happens once every 2 or 3 weeks where as a family we can sit and have a meal together, due to everyones commitments, whether work or social. Tonight I am doing Pork Chipolata, wrapped in bacon, roasted, with Greek potatoes with a semolina and lemon crumb, tuscan mushrooms and roasted carrots , steamed broccolli... Hotcopperites, times flies, before you know it opportunities are gone... take time to put things into priorities, value your family and friends. At the end of the day its really all we have
