Very interesting find, and it's the lead article no less.
The weary cynic in me thinks it'll come to naught. But.... One scenario is what is described takes place and REE price spikes ala the Japan spat.
That would put ALK quickly in the spotlight. Hard to see it not attracting attention and funding or takeout.
Longer term though, I can't but see another REE boom bust cycle. The trade war and Drumph will both end just when...
That where a built DZ may though sail through based on the premise Zr underpins the whole long term proposition. That and Ni mean even a REE bust, the built mine is profitable just the quantum...

LYC would though clean up during the spike, and once in production REE even falling back to today's level delivers the cream for ALK when high

IMHO only
