if my confidence is down and I'm not making the right trades or some losing trades
you must ask the question why?
- am I trading emotionally? perhaps with money I can not afford to lose
- am I chasing quick money taking unnecessary high trade risks?
- am I trading to often and trying to make things happen without proper DD on said stocks
- am I putting in the value needed first by researching into stocks before buying in
and do I have a excellent understanding of the company's fundamentals or just a brief overview?
- I'm I trading based purely on TA and not FA or vice versa
- maybe go over the stocks that went up 50 to 100% in the last 3 months and try to look for a common theme,
were they low MC stocks before there run?
are most in the same sector?
was there a catalyst that made them run or a build up in SP leading to the catalyst?
did they have strong fundamentals in place?
were the stocks in uptrend or down trend before their run up?

I don't believe in luck in picking stocks, I think the more value you can put in ( research etc)
the greater the return from your stocks you will receive, patience of course is needed

I enjoy playing poker as its a skill game much like the stock market is
great players only play about 20% of hands they are dealt and throw away the rest, need a great deal of patience to pick the right spot to maximise value.

pick less stocks and maximise the value in them.
