Hahaha the science in that documentary is just dodgey.... um entertainment? Curvature of the earth bends light and radiowaves. And of course the GPS reading all read the same. They are not measuring a distance from a fixed point in space to water surface, they are using GPS, a mathematical system of measuring radio wave phase shift from multiple satellites to give height and positioning data based on a GLOBE. So they just proved the world is a globe. Sometimes some people just shouldn't breed.
