Because too many people don't realise that you don't have to own stock to be "in" on a companies story. Also you can own company stock and think the company is a dog.
E.g. I think EC is a good product which has some place in the world. However I still buy and sell stock based on share price action and I will forever be critical of management until they improve their reporting standards.
