Investors should be able to believe guidance and audited financials are true. SGH was a market darling in a recession proof business. If management had been good we would all be happy. If management had been honest and open we would not be sad.
The moral I have learned is there is little integrity on the ASX. There are a few good ASX companies with good management but regulations are seldom enforced. I now invest more in corporate bonds and on the NYSE where I have little doubt the stunts pulled on shareholders there would result in Directors going to prison.
