I can't comment one way or another with regard to your 'Property Investment Solution. But given you're a builder here's an idea (not original) that you might put some thought in to. One of the largest gaps in the current market is for affordable single person accommodation. There is an existing and growing demographic of singles, including widowers, middle aged women and the unmarried, to name but a few. The Japanese and other Asian countries have mastered this concept on a micro accommodation level, and while I would not envisage the small box concept for Australia, there is a need for a larger version to fit this demographic. Crowd funding may be a finance option.
