So where are the videos being hosted if not on YouTube?
BIG would have to commission a data center and the infrastructure to upload large amounts of video to said data center. Given that BIG operate in Aus, US and UK that would mean at least one data center in each country to allow faster playback. To reduce risks of outages I would expect secondary or tertiary locations to be established as well. This isn't a particularly difficult task to plan and implement and it does make a lot of sense for the long term play. This will however incur further costs and more risks.
I'd be interested to know if this is currently taking place and which data storage company is being used.
