Yes the could very well be further communications between now and next week. In fact from my experience in these matters I've never seen it settled in the mediation room, rather post once everyone has cooled down.
Yes I'm inclined to think the entire US$200M is at stake as the KCN Board will be able to independently show the financial impact caused by the Thai PM's decision to close down Chatree indefinitely and the costs to restart it.
